Product Details
Appesat is a weight loss supplement sold in the UK, Canada, and the US at this time. It claims to help you to change your appetite and achieve healthy weight loss, and apparently it gives you a helping hand. They claim that this makes it easier than ever to actually meet and achieve your greater weight loss goals.
The Good
They talk about modest results, which is really what it should be. There is no miracle pill that will help you to lose weight without diet and exercise, and they focus on setting healthy weight goals, helping you to identify the lifestyle changes you need for long term success, etc. The question is, does this actually work, or is it more of a copout?
The Bad
They focus on one ingredient they call seaweed laminaria digitata. Now there are actually some seaweeds that have been known to promote thermogenic fat burning effects. For example, though the studies are fairly new and questionable at this point, fucoxanthin has been proven to promote a thermogenic effect in the body for fat burning. However, they have never been known to promote appetite suppression, and this is not even one of the types of seaweed that has been known to burn fat.
The Skinny
We would not recommend bothering with Appesat. It does not actually have the ingredients to promote results or benefits, and like Alli, all their talk about healthy lifestyle changes and everything else is more of a copout than anything else. It is just their way of saying that if you fail, it is entirely your own fault.
