Does It Work?
FC-Block relies heavily on white kidney bean extract which is thought to be able to prevent the absorption of fat and carbs in the small intestine. One study conducted with 60 slightly overweight people showed that 30% of the people using white kidney bean extract, as opposed to the placebo, saw weight loss. These findings did not go unnoticed, and the diet industry jumped on this extract, marketing it as the “silver bullet pill.” However, even those consumers who saw weight loss discontinued their use of the white kidney bean extract because of side effects like gas, bloating and diarrhea.
Our Opinion:
Although we can clearly see that FC-Block is trying to tell you that it will help you lose weight, some of its claims are a little vague and lofty. For instance, its bulleted list that delineates all its weight loss promises includes some claims that are almost exactly the same, like “reduce body fat” and “getting rid of abdomen fat,” or “increase body definition” and “define your body.” Either Pro Fight is offering a product that gives you a dictionary definition of what your body really means, or they’re simply trying to inflate to make up for a product that doesn’t do a lot of good for you. All in all, we think there are many more supplements out there from other companies that have done more research, with more scientific findings than Pro Fight.
