Nutrisystem Reviews

Product Details
One of the most popular diet plans to date, Nutrisystem has been known in the past for its commercials with the puppet monster, claiming that you can finally defeat “hungry” as they call it. They claim that “hungry” is holding you back, and that you can finally defeat him by learning which foods are the right foods and otherwise. Nutrisystem in the past has even provided education about how to choose good restaurant foods so that you can go out and actually live your life whether with friends or on vacation.
The Good
In the past, they have actually taught dieters to undergo lifestyle changes, and they do have a number of different diet plans including one specifically made for those with type 2 diabetes.
The Bad
They don’t do that anymore. They did it for a long time, and frankly speaking we did like Nutrisystem. But apparently, they weren’t making enough money. People were learning more about how to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and then they were leaving the program to diet on their own without spending all that money. So they were actually losing profits. While there are always more dieters ready to jump on a boat should the diet actually work, Nutrisystem decided to switch back to the prepackaged foods method, therefore making more money and making you virtually dependent on their services.
The Skinny
We would no longer recommend using Nutrisystem. Yes, we did admire them. But now they make you dependent on their program just like other popular products such as Jenny Craig. Frankly speaking, the prepackaged meals do not taste good. In fact, some would even describe them as inedible, and realistically speaking, it doesn’t teach you anything about maintaining results, how to go on vacation or otherwise live a normal life, etc. The results will not last when it comes to Nutrisystem.
